Many people believe that they are eating healthy, though there are so many mixed messages out there in the world you never seem to really know. You are individual, your specific needs are never exactly the same as the next person’s.
This 4-part Series will form the foundation of eating for your optimal health! We will clean-up your existing diet, create your own personal super foods list, correct any nutrient deficiencies, ensure getting a balanced intake of the macronutrients (protein, carbs, healthy fats) all while strengthening your digestive system, alleviating yucky symptoms (a technical term!) and improving your health. * The reason I often recommend the use of supplements is because today’s diet is becoming increasingly less and less nutrient dense. Fresh fruits and veggies that we buy at the store have been picked, stored and transported (often many, many miles) in such a way that the vitamin and mineral content is significantly reduced to that of when it was freshly picked. Then nutrients are further depleted through our cooking methods (more info on this later). I may recommend supplements to your specific needs for optimum results. My approach in nutritional therapy is roughly 90% from foods and 10% from supplements. If your wish is to avoid supplements completely, we can certainly do that.
